Tasting Notes: Saturated and lustrous purple-black color, and nearly explosive aromas of fresh blackberries, with hints of methol. Medium-bodied, with flavors of ripe plum, berries, and dark chocolate; vibrant, food-friendly acidity, and a long and invigorating finish. Winemaker Comments: A distinctly Washington/Yakima Valley expression of Petite Sirah, grown at a barren, rocky 0.6-acre cool-climate growing site planted for ANIMALE, this wine reflects both the growing site and warm 2009 vintage.
